This SMS Privacy Policy explains how Los Padres Fire Protection ("LPFP," "we," "us") handles mobile phone numbers and text messages in connection with our internal operational alert program.

What the program is

LPFP sends text-message alerts to its own staff and management regarding internal operations — such as job status changes, parts needed, and schedule or due-date reminders. This is not a marketing program.

Mobile information is never shared

We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or text-messaging consent with any third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is used solely to deliver the internal operational alerts described above. Information may be shared only with service providers that help us operate the messaging system (for example, our SMS delivery provider), and only for that purpose.

Message frequency varies based on operational activity. Recipients typically receive a small number of messages per day.

Opting out

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. For help, reply HELP. After you reply STOP, you will no longer receive alert messages unless you re-enroll.
